Here is where I post a mix of smaller, speculative projects I've created in my spare time. Sorted from newest to oldest.
ANIMATED EUROVISION ICONs
Inspired by the look of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, I created a set of infinitely looping animated icons, both in the official colour scheme and a selection based on different pride flags, celebrating the LGBT inclusivity that defines the contest.
Eesti Laul Refresh
In previous years, Eesti Laul, the show that selects Estonia's Eurovision act, featured a creative new spin on its design for every edition. Since 2020, however, the same design has been used. With this in mind, I set out to create a new look for the contest, redrawing its bird icon, refreshing the colour scheme and font choices, and creating a dynamic set of animations for use throughout the show.
NRK Rebrand
A full rebrand for Norway's public broadcaster NRK, inspired by the unique design of their logo. The project has gone through multiple iterations over the past year, and I continue to experiment with it.
EUROVISION YOUTUBE THUMBNAILS
In June 2021, I designed a selection of thumbnail designs based on the official design of the Eurovision YouTube channel, adapted to the style of each year of the contest.
BRIT AWARDS REBRAND
Made this in May 2021 after watching the BRIT awards. Loved the look for the show but thought the logo could do with a slightly different approach. I expanded the Brits B Icon into a full wordmark with a layered approach. I created multiple colour variants, each breaking up a gradient into segments.
Pepsi REBRAND
Quick typographic exercise to modernise and energize the Pepsi brand with a consistent new approach. Made before the eventual official Pepsi rebrand in 2023.
